Qualified public or private school groups of ten or more from the State of Alabama will receive a $3.00 per person rate to visit the Park. All public or private school groups from outside the State of Alabama will receive a $ 5.00 per person rate. Special meal packages are also available. Advance reservations and arrangements must be made.

You do not need a reservation to visit Battleship Memorial Park, but advance notice is appreciated if you are in a group of 10 or more.

Groups of 10 or more adults qualify for a net, non-commissionable admission fee of $10.00 per person. Qualified group tour escorts and bus drivers (2 comp per coach) are always admitted free with their group's paid admission. Motorcoach parking fee is $10.00, credited towards the group's paid admission.

To receive this discount, we require that one person purchase tickets for the entire group. We accept cash, travelers' checks, American Express, Visa, MasterCard, and Discover. We do not accept personal checks for admission or gift shop sales.

We do not have separate admission fees for each ship. The single ticket entitles one to visit both ships and the Aircraft Pavilion.

We do not have guided tours. Each visitor is given a ship's self-guided tour route which corresponds with compartment locations on the battleship. We suggest an average tour time of 2 hours. Feel free to take pictures anywhere in the Park.

Smoking will only be permitted on the grounds or in designated areas. Smoking is not permitted aboard either Battleship ALABAMA or Submarine DRUM. There is also no smoking in the Aircraft Pavilion at any time.

Catered meals (breakfast, lunch, or dinner) are available for groups up to 500 people (a minimum of 30 people required for any meal). Meals may be served aboard the battleship in the Wardroom (maximum capacity - 150) or on the Fantail (capacity - 300). The air-conditioned Aircraft Pavilion holds up to 1,200 people for a seated function. Prices vary according to menu choice and group size. Two weeks advance notice is required (subject to availability).
